Requirements for parrot cage construction
1. Cage area and space: each Macaw shall occupy an area of at least 2.5m × 2.5m × 3.5m. Cage height should not be too low, to ensure that macaws have a certain space for activities.
2. Light intensity of Macaw cage: generally, three sides of the cage are protective net and one side is solid wall, which can not only enjoy sufficient light, have good ventilation and air permeability, but also prevent cold and wind in winter.
3. Safety facilities: Macaw has a hard beak, which is destructive to some extent. It is required that the cage protection net must be firm and durable, the mesh wire shall not be too thin, and the mesh hole shall not be too large. It is better to use stainless steel rope net with high hardness.
4. Epidemic prevention requirements: clean, disinfect and expose the inside of cage regularly.
5. Requirements for animal habits: according to the habits of Macaws, necessary benthos, steel rings and anti living vegetation shall be built. To restore the habitat of Macaw as much as possible and release its habits.
